User Account Help
Users should ensure that their accounts contain up-to-date professional and contact information as many providers utilize these details on class lists and name tags. To change any of your account information (including your password), log in to your account by clicking the button at the bottom right of the calendar. Then enter your full email address (used by the system instead of a user name) and password. Once logged in, an 'Update User Account' button will appear there and clicking it will take you to the required form.
If you are unable to remember your password or having trouble logging in, the first thing you should do is ensure that you are using the correct email address as your user name (the correct one being the one you used when creating your account). Important!! If an administrator created your account for you, you will need to create a password. Follow the instructions for resetting your password (next paragraph). The second thing you should do is to restart your browser. The Learning Shop security measures employ cookies and session variables that often do not reset properly and this interferes with login attempts.
If you are still having difficulty, the next solution is to reset your password. You accomplish this by going to the login screen and clicking the link at the bottom. After resetting, ensure that you restart your browser.
If an administrator created your account for you and you have more than one email address, please contact them to find out which one is associated with your account. Important!! If you enter what you think is the correct email address and the password reset fails, this means you are using the wrong email address. Please do not create a new duplicate account; instead try your other possible email addresses or contact the administrator who created your account to find out the correct one.
To enroll in a course, click on the desired course on the calendar or the course list. This will call up the course details and registration status. Click on the 'Register' button to be enrolled in the course. You can view all the courses you have registered for by using the 'Your Timetable' link.
To remove yourself from a course that you have already registered for, you must first access your User Calendar by clicking on the 'User Timetable' link. Once viewing your personal calendar, click on the course you can no longer attend. A course details page will appear. After verifying that you have the correct course, click the 'Cancel Registration' button.
